Join us for a hilarious night of comedy at our event, Comedy With Altitude! Get ready to laugh until your stomach hurts as we bring you the best stand-up comedians in town.

Prepare for an evening filled with non-stop laughter, witty jokes, and hilarious anecdotes. Three talented comedians will take you on a rollercoaster ride of humor, ensuring an unforgettable experience.

This month’s show highlights the commedic stylings of Laura Hayden, Daniel Eachus, and Dwayne Perkins!

About Laura Hayden:

When Laura Hayden is not killing patients–with laughter, she is killing it on stage as a stand-up comedian and inspirational speaker. Dr. Laura Hayden is a practicing physical therapist, touring comedian and speaker. Laura’s stand-up career started at the front of the classroom while she earned her Masters in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Her ability to highlight the humorous side of medicine led her classmates to nominate her to give their graduation commencement speech. To this day the faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s College still talk about that “infamous” commencement speech. Laura credits this as her first stand up performance.

The impact of Laura’s humor on her patients and classmates and her personal struggle with caretaker burnout led Laura to research the correlation of laughter on overall health—especially how it affects those charged with taking care of the sick and injured. Laura’s personal journey and research on the healing aspect of laughter led her to pursue her PhD in Physical Therapy from Boston University. The emphasis of her PhD was burnout and therapeutic laughter. Caregiver burnout is a serious issue in the medical industry and as a caregiver herself she understood how difficult it was to stay sane and positive when dealing with the stress. She found that laughter—as cliché as it may sound—truly is the best medicine for patients, their loved ones, and the medical professionals working the front lines.

Today Laura lends her humorous take on the absurd, bizarre and rare moments that make living and healing such a great part of the human experience. Part of her mission to serve others, educate and entertain with kindness and humor, Laura crafts one-of-a-kind speeches and uplifting presentations that helps people cut loose and find the funny side of any situation. The prognosis . . .terminal laughter!

About Daniel Eachus:

Daniel Eachus is a rising young star in the comedy world. Even at such a young age, Eachus has the chops of a comedy veteran and people are taking notice. Born and raised in Fresno, CA, he was surrounded by farms, but didn’t want to smell raisins for the rest of his life, so he turned to comedy to get him out. For college, Daniel’s wish came true and he left Fresno to study in Long Beach. By day, he was a student, by night he performed on the stand-up comedy circuit. After just one year of nightly performances, he became the youngest finalist ever in the “Funniest Comic in Los Angeles” contest. He’s been entertaining audiences ever since.

Eachus has been performing stand-up throughout the nation’s clubs, colleges, and cruises. He made it to the finals on Comedy Central’s “Up Next” and soon after, made his second televised appearance on FOX & HULU’s “Laughs”. Since then, he’s done two stand-up albums with 800 Pound Gorilla Records, that have been playing regularly on Sirius XM, Spotify, iTunes, and Pandora. He also filmed his debut DryBar comedy special “A Mild and Skinny Guy” which has over a million total views!

But doing stand-up is simply not enough for Daniel. When he’s not onstage making people laugh, he’s making people laugh at their screens. Daniel acts, writes, and produces the comedy sketch series, “Bigfoot Chasers”. He is a co-writer on a brand-new Kevin Hart-Produced Series. He’s starred in 20 National Television Commercials, was featured on SpikeTV, and is in the hilarious new film, “Amy and Peter Are Getting Divorced” on Paramount+.

About Dwayne Perkins:

Dwayne Perkins has made appearances on Conan, Comedy Central, and as a regular correspondent on The Jay Leno Show. In August 2012, he was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as one of their “Five Comics to Watch”. In October 2015, he was the artist-in-residence at the Rotterdam International Comedy Festival.

After emceeing events in college, Perkins began performing at the Uptown Comedy Club in Harlem. After graduation, he moved to Boston in 1994. While performing at The Comedy Studio in Boston in 1999, he was scouted by Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and he made his television stand-up comedy debut on that show in July of the same year. During this period, he also appeared in the New Faces of Comedy showcase at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.

Perkins has indicated that he prefers to appeal to broad audiences rather than to narrowly defined audience segments. His earliest stage time was in front of predominantly black audiences in Harlem, followed by a period in which he played to predominantly white audiences in Boston, and he credits both experiences with influencing his style. He has also indicated that he prefers subtler material over more confrontational approaches. While he includes material about race in his act, he has indicated that it is not the central focus of his material. His delivery style has been characterized as “likeable” and “matter-of-fact.

Whether you’re a comedy enthusiast or simply looking for a fun night out, Comedy With Altitude guarantees to deliver a side-splitting performance that will leave you wanting more
